McKenzie by Wood Iron Tiny Homes
Built with the adventurer in mind, the 16-foot McKenzie by Wood Iron Tiny Homes offers off-grid capabilities and all-season recreation opportunities.
The 120-square-foot is well insulated and has an energy efficient propane heater. The solar power system includes solar panels, two deep cell batteries, an inverter, and all LED lighting. There is also a direct 30AMP plug as well. The McKenzie has a direct hose hookup, 28-gallon fresh water storage tank with 12v off-grid pump, and a gray water tank with RV hose dump.
The McKenzie is named after Oregon’s McKenzie River and features a multi-tone turquoise metal “river” around its exterior, along with stained cedar shakes and Breckenridge panels. There is an outdoor gear storage area with access from both sides. The curved metal roof makes for an aerodynamic shape and creates extra headroom inside.
The full size bed is located on the main floor in front of a large four-foot wide picture window. Pull-out steps provide easy access to the bed/lounge area.
The kitchen includes a propane stove/oven, stainless steel range hood, deep sink, and slide-out refrigerator/freezer box.
A live edge multipurpose table provides space for dining, working, etc.
In the washroom is a full size shower, exposed copper plumbing, porcelain washbasin, and composting toilet.
