Stunning Lilas Tiny House on Wheels by Minimaliste
Size: 410-square-feet 10.5’x34.5′ trailer
Built by tiny home builder Minimaliste, the Lilas is the first tiny house on wheels legally allowed in Quebec for full-time use as a permanent residence.
The Lilas was built on a 10.5’x34.5′ trailer, providing 410-square-feet of living space between the main floor and bedroom loft.
The exterior of the tiny home draws inspiration from Minimaliste’s Chene model with its two-tone eastern white cedar and steel accents.
Designed for two young chefs, the Lilas maximizes space in the kitchen and living room. The couple also wanted to include a special wood burning fireplace, so Minimaliste made sure that was a focal point in the house. The interior finishes are similar to the Ebene model.
The kitchen has plenty of counter space for the couple to work side-by-side. There is a full size gas range with tile backsplash and venting hood, large single bowl sink with gooseneck faucet, and a stainless steel refrigerator housed in the storage staircase. The staircase has cherry steps with a huge landing, large drawers, and a wardrobe.
At the top of the staircase is the bedroom loft with four feet of headroom. The loft has an awning window and cabinet with sliding doors.
In the 54-square-foot bathroom is a 32″x32″ shower with imitation tile panels, a Bosch stackable washer and dryer, modern vanity, and a Nature’s Head compost toilet.
